Fence Company in Parker, TX
Pipe, iron and gate work for Parker estate lots, from our Allen office.
Open-Style Fencing for Parker Estate Lots
Parker’s single-family district calls for at least 2 acres per lot, and the city code keeps fences open. Every panel has to leave at least half of its face see-through. Pipe, ranch rail and wrought iron are the result on most Parker lots, with cedar privacy held to a few spots. From the Allen office, our crews reach Parker in about 10 to 15 minutes.
A typical Parker job means long runs, a wide driveway entrance and a gate that opens from the car. We walk the whole perimeter with you and mark the house, the barn and the pool. The written estimate covers layout, materials and schedule, and the same project manager is your contact from the measuring visit through the final walk.

Pipe Fencing
Welded pipe rail for long acreage lines. Each joint is saddled and welded before the fence is primed and painted to your color choice.
Wrought Iron Fence
Black iron for the front of the lot, the drive and the pool area. Open pickets meet Parker’s half-open rule with room to spare.
Gate Automation
Powered swing or slide operators for long Parker drives. Open the gate from the car with a remote, or use a keypad or access control.
Gates
Entry gates in iron or pipe, built wide enough for trucks and trailers headed to the barn or shop. Wood gates get a welded steel frame.
Ranch and Farm Gates
Pipe and mesh gates for pastures, barns and workshop yards on the larger Parker tracts.
Wood Fencing
Cedar privacy where Parker allows it: around the pool and on Parker Road, Dillehay Drive or Hogge Drive frontage. Built on metal posts.
Pergolas
Shade by the pool on a lot where the fence has to stay open. Our cedar is stained before it goes up, a polycarbonate roof is optional, and a 3D rendering comes first.
Custom Patio Covers
A covered space off the back of an estate home, sized to the house. Integrated lighting is an option.
Concrete
Pool patios and walks out to the barn or shop, poured as stamped or exposed aggregate concrete.
Built for Long Runs on Open Land
Fence a square 2-acre lot and you are running almost 1,200 ft of line. On a line that long, one leaning post or sagging rail shows from the road. Every steel post is driven 4 ft into the ground, and the pipe rail is welded at each joint, so the fence holds a straight line from corner to corner. Any wood gate on the property hangs from a welded steel frame and holds its line at the latch.
Parker’s code also covers columns. Masonry or metal columns can be up to 2 ft square and 6 ft tall, spaced at least 6 ft apart center to center. Posts and columns do not count against the 50 percent open rule, so stone or brick columns with iron or pipe between them are allowed.

Fence Rules and Recommendations for Parker
Pipe, Rail or Iron on a Parker Lot
On 1 and 2-acre lots like Kings Crossing and Parker Ranch Estates, we usually recommend welded pipe rail or ranch rail for the long side and rear lines, and black iron along the front and around the house. Both stay well over half open. For privacy, build it where Parker allows it: a cedar enclosure within 30 ft of the pool, or a solid fence on Parker Road, Dillehay Drive or Hogge Drive frontage.
Parker Fence Height and Material Rules
In Parker’s single-family districts, perimeter fencing tops out at 6 ft, and every fence panel must be at least 50 percent open. Posts and columns do not count toward that, and columns are limited to 2 ft square and 6 ft tall, at least 6 ft apart. Lots that side or back onto Parker Road, Dillehay Drive (FM 2551) or Hogge Drive may have a solid wood, masonry or iron fence along the road. Privacy fences are allowed around a pool if they stay within 30 ft of the water’s edge, finished side out. Chain link cannot go in the front yard or past the front of the house, and the city prefers black or green vinyl coating. Razor ribbon, sheet metal, corrugated steel, fiberglass panels and plywood are not allowed. On corner lots, fences stay out of the triangle 20 ft back from the curb lines. Where deed restrictions or HOA covenants are stricter, the stricter rule applies. Source: City of Parker Code of Ordinances, Sections 156.32, 156.33 and 156.37.
Parker Fence Questions

The 50 Percent Open Rule Shapes Every Parker Fence
Parker’s code measures openness panel by panel. Look at the fence straight on, and at least half of each panel has to be open view. The rule covers side and back yard fences too, not just the front, which is why so little solid cedar runs along Parker property lines.
We design to that rule from the first sketch. Pipe rail, ranch rail, cable and iron pickets all clear it with room to spare. Where you want screening, we place it where the code allows: a cedar enclosure close to the pool, or a solid fence on Parker Road, Dillehay Drive or Hogge Drive frontage. Your estimate shows which style goes on each line.
